How To Use

Step 1: Preparation
After your ride, remove any large debris (dirt, leaves, etc.) from your gear. If your gear has removable liners or padding, take them out before cleaning.

Step 2: Shake Well
Shake the Motoclean can thoroughly to ensure the formula is well-mixed for maximum effectiveness.

Step 3: Pre-Test for Colour Fastness
Before applying to the entire garment, pre-test the product on a small, inconspicuous area of your apparel to ensure no colour changes or fabric reactions.

Step 4: Spray Application
Hold the bottle approximately 20 cm away from the surface of your gear. Spray evenly across the soiled areas, applying a light and consistent coat.

Step 5: Wipe and Rub
Allow the cleaner to sit for 15-20 seconds to break down dirt and grime. Using a clean, damp microfibre cloth, gently rub the surface to lift the dirt. Apply light pressure, especially on delicate materials.

Step 6: Repeat If Necessary
For stubborn stains, repeat the process—spray again, wait 15-20 seconds, and gently rub until the area is clean.

Step 7: Drying
After cleaning, air dry your gear naturally in a cool, shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources (like radiators) as they can damage the material. Make sure your gear is completely dry before storing or wearing it again.

Product FAQ

1. Can I use Motoclean on all types of motorcycle gear?
Motoclean is safe for most leather, textile, and mixed-material motorcycle apparel. However, always pre-test the product on a small, inconspicuous area of your gear before using it more widely to ensure no adverse reactions or colour changes, particularly with delicate or brightly coloured fabrics.

2. Can I use Motoclean on my gear after every ride?
Yes, Motoclean is ideal for regular cleaning after each ride. Simply follow the recommended steps for best results and to keep your gear in top condition.

3. Will Motoclean remove tough stains from my gear?
Motoclean is effective at cleaning everyday dirt and grime. For more stubborn stains, you may need to repeat the process or gently work the cleaner into the fabric with a soft brush.

4. How long should I wait before wearing my gear again?
Allow your gear to air dry naturally in a cool, shaded area. Avoid heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight. Ensure your gear is completely dry before wearing or storing it.
